Mother Daughter American Girl Tea Party

Join College Square for an American Girl themed afternoon. Moms and daugthers will be able to indulge in a little "girl time" at The American Girl Tea Party and Celebration. The event will offer free refhreshments and activities for American Girl fans. Girls ages 12 and under are invited to bring Mom and their American Girl doll or favorite doll of any brand to the celebration. All participants will be able to enjoy tea party snacks, have their picture taken with their doll, and can decorate a picture frame to hold their new keepsake photo. Photos will be printed on site. As with any afternoon tea, girls are encouraged to wear their finest or dress to match their doll. After the celebration, shop B. Dalton and Bath and Body Works for American Girl products!

All girls ages 12 and under who attend the event are eligible to win a new American Girl Mia Doll and complimenting paperback book. The 2008 Girl of the Year, Mia, follows the tradition of other character dolls released for just one year. Mia discovers her passion for figure skating and finds the courage to pursue it. The exclusive Mia doll is available for one year and one lucky girl will win her by attending this event.

Prior registration is not required and no purchase is necessary. Craft materials, refreshemtns, and photos are available while supplies last.

Hy-Vee would like to congratulate all mall walkers for taking charge of their health. Heidi Oberrieder, your College Square Hy-Vee dietitian, will join the College Square Mall Walkers on the 4th Tuesday of each month, June - December, to celebrate health.

Mall Walkers are invited to stop by to taste delicious foods, learn about their health, and pick up coupons. They can also bring their nutrition questions. Heidi's booth, the Hy-Vee Health Station, will be resuming its location at Center Court at College Square Mall in June.

Phoenix Promotions presents the College Square Mall Fall and Winter Antique & Collectibles Shows. The fall show will take place Friday – Sunday, October 10 – 12, 2008. The winter show will take place Friday – Sunday, January 2 - 4, 2009. At both of these shows shoppers can find eclectic treasures from many vendors in the east and west wings of the mall. Come in from the heat, the rain or the uneven terrain and help get yourself in shape by walking at College Square Mall. One time around the mall (including hallways and Food Court) equals 5/8 of a mile. Twice around equals 1.25 miles. Mall doors begin to be opened at 7:00 a.m. Monday - Saturday and at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays. Add a little exercise to your lifestyle and become a mall walker at College Square!
